Happy Australia Day!

How quickly the 26th January has rolled around again, and most of see it as a final fling before we head back to work, uni and school after the silly season. So it’s a good time to think about your health goals and how you are going to achieve them.

Australia day is notoriously hot which will remind you that a great way to start your healthy regime is to drink lots of water. I read the other day on Ross Bridgeford’s blog that you should be drinking a litre of water or every 22kg of body weight, plus more if you exercise.

As soon as I wake up I have a glass of lemon and water to alkalise my body. Then I drink a litre of water, so already I’m on my way to my daily water intake. It takes a lot of determination to get into this routine and this is where I can help with some hypnosis. You will find your trips to the bathroom increase but just see it as a healthy way to cleanse the body and mind!

At a conference in Sydney a few years ago, one of the speakers said that the more water you drink in the morning, the better you sleep at night… I’ll drink to that!
