Then here is my answer!
A view of gorgeous Laguna Beach while hiking
I recently traveled across the world and spent an amazing two weeks at the Blue Pearl Laguna Hiking and Yoga Spa, founded by Geo and Katresha Moskios, two of the worlds most renowned yoga teachers and also two of the most caring and motivating people you will ever meet.
Blue Pearl Laguna is an intimate retreat nestled amongst trees in Laguna Canyon and has twelve beautiful bedrooms with marble en suits. Even the New York Times rated this five star Spa the best.
Laguna Beach itself is a quaint seaside village full of fabulous art galleries and about an hours drive south of LA and an hour from San Diego.
From the moment I stepped into the very spacious Zen living room, complete with its cheerful open fire, I was greeted by the wonderful warm staff of Blue Pearl Laguna. From then on I didn’t have to think about a thing for two weeks!
No watch, computer or mobile phone. It was bliss just being completely cared for.
The day begins with Geo’s Signature Power Yoga, followed by a delicious breakfast and hiking in the beautiful Laguna Hills.
One day we hiked 11 miles to the beach to enjoy lunch in a gorgeous park overlooking the ocean. I must say it was great to get those hiking boots off and soak my feet in the sea.
Everyday I had a massage, they were all heavenly. Then it was off to the sauna and jacuzzi, before taking time to rest. Most evenings began with a fireside chat then yoga, sometimes with the inspirational Katresha then a beautiful dinner and a different herb tea and then that wonderful bed with its gorgeous crisp white linen and then a well earned sleep.
We were served the most delicious vegetarian meals, beautifully and stylishly presented. I can’t wait for Katresha’s new cookbook to be published.
Stay tuned, I’ll share the details with you as soon as I can.
How do you recharge yourself? Do you have a special place or time when you make relaxing an self nurturing a priority?

Here in Perth we are using Virtual Gastric Banding to help many people achieve their required weight with great success as well as encouraging a healthy eating plan.
UK based hypnotherapist, Sheila Granger has helped literally hundreds of people in the UK to lose weight after conducting a trial which achieved a 95% success rate. Since the trial in November 2009, Sheila Granger has received patients to her clinic from all over the UK and Europe, who testify that the Virtual Gastric Band is like ‘flicking a switch in the brain’. It changes their attitude towards food and gains control over cravings and bad habits. Her work has been featured on national television, newspapers and magazines. Sheila has traiined hypnotherapists in this unique system in the UK, USA, Canada and Australia
Weight is lost naturally, consistently and without dieting. The virtual gastric band is applied under hypnotherapy over four weekly sessions. It carried ZERO risk and there is no invasive surgery. The subconscious believes the stomach is smaller and the mind doesn’t allow a person to over-eat. There is no diet, instead simple rules to reduce portion sizes, motivation to exercise, a supporting hypnotherapy CD to listen each day and a personalised CD when the treatments are complete. The most important thing about the Virtual Gastric Band in comparison to the actual gastric band is that the virtual version deals with the issues in a persons mind and their relationship with food. Having a foreign body inside your stomach simply does not deal with psychological factors. A bariatric surgery patient can still over eat and burst the band, plus they have to eat a pureed diet. With the virtual band, if they find they are eating too much, it can be tightened under hypnotherapy, there is no invasive surgery and they are treating the psychological problems not just the physical. Sheila Granger explains:
“Feedback from my clients shows increased will-power and no need to deprive themselves of the foods they enjoy. As humans if we are told to avoid something, we crave it even more.

Here is a delicious raw super food recipe, for those of you who still have that “sweet tooth” and desire or crave that chocolate taste.
Choc Fudge Balls
(quick and easy)
2 cups of macadamias or almonds soaked for 24 hours
2 cups of dates pitted and soaked for 2 hours(or use fresh dates)
1/2 cup of organic cocoa powder
In a food processor blend dates till smooth and remove.
Then blend the almonds in the food processor until as fine as possible(nut butter consistency)
Place all ingredients including the cocoa powder in the processor and mix well.
Roll into small balls and also roll in coconut if desired.
Keep in the fridge or freezer.
Remember to make them very small and really savour the taste when you eat a “Choc Fudge Ball”.
Once I ate them at night and was awake for hours. So be aware!
I also eat them sometimes as a pick me up before lunch or in the afternoons.
Remember if your not sure about any of these ideas check with your medical practitioner first.

I have recently discovered a very quick, delicious and nutritious breakfast, using Chia seeds.
You may ask what are Chia seeds and why are they so good? Well let me tell you what I have recently learnt.
WHAT ARE CHIA SEEDS?
They are from the Salvia plant and are mainly grown in Kununurra in the top of Western Australia. After the tiny seds are harvested they are driven thousands and of kilometres close to Perth to be processed and packaged.
These tiny super seeds contain about 32 percent omega-3 fats which are essential for cardiovascular health, a healthy brain and soft skin.
QUICK AND EASY TO PREPARE
This delicious gentle to my stomach food is so easy to prepare.
I begin the morning with fresh squeezed lemon juice in a glass of room temp filtered water.
So next, I get out a small bowl. Add two tablespoons of Chia seeds and approx half a cup of water.
Then throw my yoga mat on the floor and do my 20 minute yoga practice, sharing my mat with Mr Darcy my scruffy but loveable dog. (The children at my local park love him and say he looks like he has feathers not fur!)
So next breakfast!
My Chia seeds have softened and I quickly add a mashed banana, some bee pollen, some crushed and soaked organic almonds or any other nuts I have crushed, an organic date or prune chopped and sometimes both.
Everyday I add different fruit, whatever is in season, or otherwise frozen berries or mangos.
I love to grate pear or apples into the Chia and this adds a completely different texture and flavour.
BENEFITS
I read recently that one tablespoon of Chia seeds contains as much calcium as two cups of milk, making them beneficial for bone health and the prevention of osteoporosis.
They are a wonderful source of dietary fibre, which is necessary for bowel health, and protein which provides the body with essential amino acids for growth and repair.
MINERAL SOURCE
Chia seeds are a good source of minerals such as iron, magnesium, zinc and B vitamin, which naturally boosts health and energy levels.
Partly from “Nutrition News”, The West Australian.

I was extremely fortunate to have studied Quantum Healing Hypnosis Therapy with the amazing Dolores Cannon a few years ago and since them have seen my clients experience wonderful results.
Dolores Cannon is a past-life regressionist and hypnotherapist who specialises in the recovery of “lost knowledge” to facilitate healing and closure. She has written many books and has appeared on a number of major TV Shows.
Dolores says that our minds are capable of anything and that most people do not recognize how much power they have access to, as they are constantly working within the limitations placed upon them, by themselves or by others. So by removing these limitations and believing in our own personal power, we can then reclaim these healing abilities that were commonplace in past generations, so that people can adapt and respond to the dramatic changes being experienced in the world, so that we can then move towards the creation of a New Earth.
Dolores’ therapeutic Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique uses the subconscious mind to heal the client. The client’s subconscious mind is accessed by bringing about a somnambulistic trance state (the deepest possible level of trance that can be attained through hypnosis), thereby enabling the therapist to gain information from the client, then communicating with the client to determine the cause of illness or disease. This technique allows, in many cases, for instantaneous self-healing of physical, mental and emotional conditions if appropriate.
This work is about communicating with a person’s “Source of all Knowledge”, Higher Self, The Higher Consciousness or the Over-Soul.
It is very important to talk to the cells in our body to get their cooperation when we want something healed. When we are able to get their attention and ask them to help us, the cells start to pay attention. This is what Quantum Healing Hypnosis is all about – getting our cells to pay attention!

Worth a try!
Did you know that weight loss is one of the three major problems in the world, according to Bob Proctor, a great motivational speaker? The other two problems are finances or lack of money and relationships.
On Persistence
Here is an exert from Thomas Edison and some words of wisdom from Bob Proctor
“I didn’t fail a thousand times, the light bulb was an invention with a thousand steps” -Thomas Edison
Bob Proctor says;
“What a great attitude to have, I know a lot of people that would have given up after “failing” once – let alone a thousand times…
Although, I think persistence was a great part of Edison’s success, it wasn’t the only or main factor.
ANYONE could have done what he did, and anyone can create incredible success. So why is it that only 3% of the population are creating results in ANY area of their lives? There is such a small percentage of people that are really making it happen.”
Hypnosis can really assist you in achieving your life style change by changing your “old belief” patterns and discovering the motivated you.

Over the next few weeks I will be sharing the benefits of some of the wonderful natural “Superfoods” that can really assist you in your weight loss!
A few weeks ago, on a gorgeous sunny Perth winters day, a few of us went to the Swan Valley, one of the our wine regions, for a picnic lunch.
On the way we stopped at “The House of Honey” and enjoyed a delicious honey tasting.
I bought some Bee Pollen as I consider it to be one of the an amazing “Superfoods” and my supply at home was running low.
I picked up a brochure and will share, with you, some of the benefits that were written in it.
Bees gather pollen by coming into contact with the stamens of flowers. The pollen grains stick to the bees body hair, they then scrape and pack the pollen grains into their “pollen baskets” which are located on their legs. Bee pollen is a high natural source of protein.
Bee pollen has been shown to help people;
Lose weight
Increase energy, vitality and stamina
Enhance the immune system
Relieve allergy and asthma symptoms
Improve sexual function
Correct digestion problems
Slow the ageing process
Prevent cancer and other diseases
How to Eat Bee Pollen
Pollen contains nearly all the nutrients required by the human body.
It is super nutritious and is a quick and easy way to add servings to your diet(1-2 teaspoons is equivalent to a hearty serve of vegetables)
Start with 1 teaspoon in the morning increasing your intake every day by a few grains until reaching 2 teaspoons a day(10 ml).
I love to add pollen to my green smoothie or you can add it to your oats or musesli and a delicious and natural sweetener.
Pollen Warning
If you are allergic to bee products or suffer with Asthma, do not consume bee pollen. Please consult your doctor if in doubt of the suitability of this or any other products that I may discuss on my website.

“Imagine a life free of fear, anxiety, anger and other debilitating emotions. Is this “realistic”? Can you live a life of abundance health, happiness, money and freedom?”(Nick Ortner).
This afternoon, I watched an amazing new film ,”The Tapping Solution”, which explores Emotional Freedom Techniques. It’s a documentary with wonderful speakers such as; Dr Bruce Lipton, Jack Canfield, Joe Vitale, Cheryl Richardson, Nick Ortner and so many more.
The web site is www.The TappingSolution.com
I often use this tapping technique while my clients are in a hypnotic trance and they are seeing amazing changes in their lives.
Children really respond to Tapping. I love getting their feedback as they become so excited and really notice how they can achieve so much so quickly so easily and are doing it themselves.
Yes! Just start tapping now!
There is a free ebook so download it now!
Feel free to contact me if you need any help with this.
I urge you to take a look and see how this can help you change!
Ciao for now!
